Our events are designed to bring men together in a supportive, pressure-free environment. Whether you join us for a walk, listen in at one of our talks, take part in a retreat-style wellbeing session or get stuck into one of our social or creative nights, there’s something for everyone.
A Community Built on Connection
We know it can feel hard to take the first step - especially when life feels busy, overwhelming, or isolating. Our events are designed to make that step easier, offering men a safe, welcoming space to show up just as they are.
Alongside our regular programme, we also run special seasonal events throughout the year. These might include festive gatherings, summer socials, themed wellbeing days, or one-off experiences that mark important moments in the calendar. Seasonal events give our community something to look forward to and create shared experiences that help build deeper connections.
We also recognise that mental wellbeing doesn’t exist in isolation - it affects and is affected by family life. That’s why we occasionally host family-friendly events, giving partners, children, and loved ones the opportunity to connect too. These events help strengthen support networks, improve understanding, and allow families to feel part of the wider Walk & Talk community in a relaxed, inclusive way.

Walks – Step Out, Switch Off, Feel Better
Our twice-monthly group walks create space to breathe, chat, and reconnect with life away from the pressures of everyday routines. You don’t need to be fit, fast, or confident - just willing to show up.
Every walk is led by trained volunteers and includes a warm welcome.

Talks – Conversations That Inspire Change
Each month we host our Talk and Talk nights - an opportunity for men in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding area to come together and talk. These events include informal evenings such as game nights as well as more focused talks led by a speaker.
Our speaker led sessions bring together speakers, specialists, and lived-experience stories that open up important conversations around men’s wellbeing.
Expect practical insights, real-life connection, and a safe space to broaden your understanding of yourself and others.
